For Two weeks prior to your appointment avoid using any skin thinning products such as retinol, vitamin A and glycolic acid. Sun exposure and tanning. Please do not turn up to your appointment sunburnt as we will not be able to proceed with the tattoo.
For 7 days prior to your appointment also avoid facial peels, taking fish oil tablets, using heavy facial creams around the tattoo area such as vitamin E.
Any waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days before and if you tint your brows, have them tinted already 1 week prior to your appointment.
Cosmetic botox or fillers should be done 4 weeks prior or 2 weeks after.
PLEASE DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners such as aspirin or nurofen for 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you require them for a medical condition please let us know.
Please lightly exfoliate your brow or lip area prior to your appointment. Also bring in your favourite brow or lip shade and any inspo photos.
It is normal to have hypersensitivity and feel more pain during or around your menstrual cycle. Please book your appointment around this if you are concerned about pain.
We cannot tattoo your lash line with lash extensions. Please have them removed before your appointment.
If you get your lashes done it is a great idea to have them done right before your brow appointment.
It is important to follow these instructions to avoid bleeding during the treatments and for optimal tattoo retention. Failing to follow these instructions can result in your new cosmetic tattoo losing pigment during the healing process. We want the best results for our clients.
